Oh my goodness I love working in this wonderful world of weddings and I feel very lucky to be able to do what I love so much! It is a fabulous treat to be able to transform pretty petals into floral designs, and creating floral concepts for my clients is one of the most loveliest parts of my job! The other very beautiful part is meeting these gorgeous couples, hearing their stories, listening to their vision and providing them with something special and just perfect for their day!
This lovely love story involves one of my favourite brides of 2014. A gorgeous girl, with a beautiful smile and a lovely heart, Bree was an incredibly excited bride-to-be, her wedding day was a relaxed and elegant affair, featuring a combination of her favourite things, flowers, friends and family, what more could a girl ask for really? And so this wonderful wedding took place on a beautiful summer Montville day, it had lots of pretty country inspired floral styling, plenty of lovely details and a very special and magical moment when these two lovebirds said ‘I Do’
I loved meeting with Bree, an incredibly busy woman but she was always delighted to spend some time planning in the studio and loved to chat about the pretty little details, it all came together perfectly and it was very special to be part of her day.
Bree married her beau Andrew at Spicers Clovelly Estate in late 2014, the glorious Jacaranda tree was on show, and when it’s on show, it is ON SHOW!!! the pretty florets of delicate flowers were showering splendidly from above and provided the perfect accent to Bree’s gardenesque floral styling. The stylish colour palette of peach, pale blue, ivory, white and blush featured throughout the floral concept, which was highlighted in the bridal bouquets and ceremony designs.
The prettiest of summer blooms were a part of this flower story, David Austin roses, delphinium, peonies, hyacinth and tweedia with touches of lavender all collectively gathered and then featured throughout the reception. Sweet napkin ties of lovely lavender greeted each guest and we placed an eclectic mix of French jars and bottles with beautiful blooms on the elegant tables, a wonderful collection of vessels that work so beautifully in unison for Spicers Clovelly weddings.
The overhead chandeliers were wrapped delicately with greenery and whimsical foliage’s, a final touch that finished the gardenesque styling of the Library deck just perfectly!
I absolutely adored the French blue suits, and the stylish lace bridesmaids gowns, it was so very chic, a little bit French, a little bit country and very Spicers Clovelly Estate!
Congratulations Bree and Andrew thank you for having me as a part of your special day!
