Rustic Country Wedding Style
Rustic Country
Rustic wedding concepts have certainly been super popular recently, particularly for couples choosing the Sunshine Coast Hinterland to say ‘I Do’. Our diverse and rural landscape provides a wonderful location and plenty of beautiful backdrops to collaborate with a rustic wedding style.
We are excited to share this love story with you, these pretty pictures captured by Shane Shephard show one of our favourite rustic inspired weddings, featuring rambling foliages, native and wildflowers and bursts of rich coloured blooms, the concept was partnered with organic and earthy textures and unique personal touches shining through. Lisa and Angus chose a rustic country wedding style and they certainly put their own stamp on the modern boho feel for the day. The beautiful hinterland wedding venue Maleny Manor hosted the celebrations and from the stunning ceremony set on the grassy plateau to the feasting tables within the Manor this wedding was glamorous and sophisticated while featuring plenty of unique sass and eclectic style!
The bridal party consisited of Lisa’s best gal pals and we loved their style, with the mix of pants suits and maxi dresses this girl squad shined with their eclectic wedding day style a perfect fit for the rustic boho concept, also wearing olive leaf and flowering foliage crowns, the bridesmaids each carried a single king protea. Lisa looked incredible in her Karen Willis Holmes bridal gown and we adored creating her native inspired bouquet design, it featured a collaboration of king proteas and rustic foliages, with pops of burgundy dahlias, and we partnered these with sophisticated blooms including David Austin and cluster roses, her divine bouquet summarised this beautiful day, eclectic yet glamorous, with plenty of style!
The ceremony featured an oversized rambling canopy design with King proteas taking centre stage and accents of plum, burgundy, pink and sage blooms and rustic foliages gave the ceremony floral design movement and textural style.
The beautiful lounging areas featured brass vases with beautiful blooms, and the reception area featured a combination of crystal and brass with lush green moss sections running down the rustic styled dining tables. The combination of the brass and antique crystal vases worked perfectly with the boho bloom styling concept for the tables, and the team at Lovebird Weddings added gorgeous decor touches to the celebrations. We loved bringing the outdoors in with our greenery pole features, a little woodlands botanical feel to surround the dining tables was a perfect foliage accent to the gorgeous reception space!
Congratulations to Lisa and Angus it was such a pleasure being part of your stunning day!
