It’s wonderful to get the opportunity to combine colour with eclectic textures and unique blooms, we are seeing an increasingly large amount of brides wanting to celebrate colour on their wedding day, often choosing gowns with more subtle simple colour palettes and letting loose with punchy pockets of vibrancy by showcasing their day with cute and quirky colourful blooms! And we just LOVE it!!
Oh my goodness it’s fabulous to be able to work with colour, it is indeed one of the most amazing parts of our job, and while classic white will always be a timeless choice for wedding flowers, if colour works for you and your partners personality why not indulge your day with breathtaking bright blooms! As you can see from the gorgeous images captured by Karen Buckle Photography there was a lot of love going on for the fabulous wedding of Jules and Jules at Maleny Manor, and absolutely nobody was going to let a little bit of rain come down on their fun parade! Pink gum boots, gold accents, sweet table décor and the most fabulous flowers that took centre stage, it truly was a delight to be a part of!
We had a wonderful time working closely with Julianne’s ideas and what a blast we had creating her floral concept that featured some of our favourites including dahlia’s, Bells of Ireland, Billy Buttons the divine Deep Purple rose, hydrangea, hyacinth, delphinium and yes just one or two special peonies!
So if you are tinkering with the idea of eclectic and colourful blooms incorporated into the styling of your day, take a peek at this wonderful collaboration of colour!
