David Austin roses are certainly one of our most requested blooms, available through Spring, Summer and a touch of Autumn the decadent old world rose variety are not only beautifully formed, featuring cabbage style heads and fluffy petals, they also deliver a divine scent with each bloom having exceptional perfume!
Summer is by far the best time to source these boutique style blooms, and they were the perfect choice for our beautiful bride Sigrid who married her beau at Maleny Manor in January. Sigrid carried a simple elegant bouquet of ivory David Austin roses, finished delicately with an heirloom cameo brooch that represented a sentimental touch for Sigrid’s wedding day. We often get brides who want jeweled family pieces to feature on the stems of their bouquets, it’s a great way to feature something old that may have been handed down from generation or to represent a family member who has sadly passed away.
Sigrid’s bridesmaids wore soft peach and we created pastel inspired designs to accent their gorgeous gowns. Hints of baby’s breath played a part in the finished floral styling, and chair jars featured touches of whimsical berries to add to the elegant country style.
The reception featured our large fishbowl vases and showcased pastel inspired floral blooms including lisianthus, Carpe Diem roses, clethra, berries and foliages.
