What a fabulous job I have meeting couples in love and having the honour of being a part of their wedding journey. Dan and Amy were cute as cute can be when I met them for their first floral design appointment. Giggling and full of smiles, I just thought ‘how sweet are these two!!’ so much love and so much fun, and may I say it was an absolute pleasure being involved in their day.
Creating the floral concept for these two cute kids, sort of took my breath away, the elegance of Amy’s bouquet was the perfect accessory for her stunning lace dress, and created a hand held unstructured style design with the colour palette of ivory, blush, cream and white, which was then elaborated to include blues, greys and sea greens through to the bridal party and ceremony and reception spaces! Amy’s bouquet featured David Austin Roses, gardenia blooms, roses, lisianthus, ranunculas and dusty miller foliage.
The bridesmaids dresses were a fantastic floral print and when we created the garden style country posies that included, hydrangea, sea holly, delphinium and berry, the story was completed!
A beautiful canopy structure was put in place by the girls at Style le Aisle, and we designed two pretty floral corner pieces that accented the colour palette and concept of the day.
The ceremony was held on the manicured front lawn of Yandina Station and guests were then whisked away to the rear of the property to enjoy the celebrations in the custom built ‘Dairy’ on the beautiful rural property!
Lavender napkin places were attached to each guests sitting, and our eclectic jugs and jars featured with a combination of floral blooms, including hydrangea, sea holly, delphinium, lisianthus, ranunculas and hyacinth!
