Introducing colour into your styling is a fabulous way to translate fun, laughter and happiness into your wedding day style, and while I might be a teeny bit biased, flowers are the ‘shining star’ when wanting to create a wedding day with a beautiful and bright bang. Floral blooms certainly have the capacity to highlight your wedding day vision, with pops of vibrance and pretty petals filled with texture, flowers present an amazing accent of colour, edge and flair and add that stylish and perfect shade to your wedding day charm.
Many of my clients choose to embrace a vibrant colour enhanced floral concept, and Cassandra and Quentin decided to choose pops of colour in combination with pastel enhanced hues for their wedding floral designs. I adore the accent of colour and as you will see by these images captured by Evernew Studios it was picture perfect for this wedding day style. The beautiful print featured on the bridesmaids gowns was such a pretty statement, so I decided to build a colour concept that included a palette of soft pastels and mid tone pinks, lavenders, blues and magenta tones, in collaboration with a punch of vibrant coral, tangerine and yellow, creating a colour enhanced accessory for the dresses and styling of the day.
We created gardenesque style bouquets that also included whimsical foliage’s and flowering berries, and were slightly unstructured and relaxed in design. The sweet buttonhole designs of flowering filler and berries were just perfect for the boys, and these sat whimsically on their charcoal suits. The flower story for this special day included dahlia’s, delphinium, David Austin roses, Fandango roses, lisianthus, snowberry, Queen Anne’s Lace, Billy Buttons, jasmine, gum and flowering fillers, and these delicious delights introduced a wonderful collection of varying textures and tones into the fabulous floral concept.
Cassandra was such a delight to work with, and flowers were very important to this beautiful bride, she was super excited to see the wedding bouquets on the day, presenting the bouquets to our clients is one of the most treasured parts of our job, and the reaction we received from Cassandra was such a wonderful one!
The wedding day styling for this sweet Maleny Manor wedding also included a country rustic feel so we incorporated a touch of hessian and twine to all of the designs. The ceremony featured sweet chair jar designs with pops of feature colours which were a beautiful accent to the rustic floral structure that we suspended at the end of the aisle and the reception tables featured an eclectic mix of jars with bursts of colour with those beautiful blooms featuring once again. The gorgeous cake by Cake Designs was finished off perfectly with a collection of feature blooms.
Congratulations Cassandra and Quentin, and thank you for having us along for the ride on your country colour inspired wedding day!
