Oh how we love a rustic country styled wedding, and you don’t get more country rustic than Yandina Station, the gorgeous wedding venue located on the Sunshine Coast oozes barn house charm and it’s acres and acres of lovely pastures presents the perfect location for an elegant country affair. Late last year we had the pleasure of creating a floral concept for our beautiful bride Stacey and we combined her love of peonies with some punchy accessorising blooms that included Billy Buttons, sim carnations, lisianthus and our favourite the ‘coral charm peony’. A colour palette of pinks, corals and oranges combined with interesting textures and blooms to create a quirky yet elegant floral concept.
What does one do when presented with a beautiful barn and some pretty amazing timber rafters, hang some bottles and jars from them of course! So we had so much fun with our hanging blooms in jars and bottles which were pretty accents to the sparkly lights that adorned the barns ceiling.
Of course we couldn’t help incorporating our range of country barn house vessels which included our vintage cow tins, ceramic milk bottles and our enamel style jugs! they were so gorgeous filled with peonies, David Austin roses, carnations, lisianthus, berries and Billy Buttons.
This sweet looking bridal party certainly enjoyed their fun loving day, with so much style some pretty breathtaking blooms and lots of country love!
