Louise and Ilan
Louise and Ilan celebrated their union with a traditional Jewish wedding on a typically warm January afternoon, their nuptials included a ceremony under the chuppah and continued much dancing and festivity at the reception.
This wedding was unusual for us in the sense that Louise did not want to hold a bridal bouquet, she preferred just hair flowers, so we created some feature hair blooms using open David Austin roses which complimented her divine bridal gown beautifully. Her bridesmaids all wore a different gown design, in varying tones and we created floral bracelets in accessorising colour tones for each one.
Although Louise chose not to have bouquets, she certainly made up for that with a mass of flowers at the ceremony and reception. Within the manicured grounds of The Plantation at Cooroy, a gorgeous ceremony area was set-up, complete with rose petals, rose heads, and floral blooms of hydrangea, delphinium and lisianthus, we created a ceremony path like never before. Lining the floral pathway were vases of floating blooms and candles, and the nearby pavilion was adorned with hanging satin ribbon rose designs.
The marquee reception had a focus on flowers and each table had beautiful blooms in grouped vases consisting of David Austin roses, Honeymoon roses, lisianthus, hydrangea and lilies. The entrance to the property featured two large urn designs with roses, lilies and lisianthus. A big thank you to Trudy Croad from Events by Design for the styling and co-ordination of the wedding day, Trudy and her team did a fantastic job liasing with all the suppliers in preparation for this gorgeous event.
As you can see by these beautiful images taken by Bella Designs and Imagery Louise and Ilan’s wedding day was an elegant and lavish affair.
