Terrianne Burns has had over 20 years experience as a floral designer, her professional career as a florist originating in Brisbane, owning two florists situated in the heart of the City Precinct. Terrianne trained at the private floristry school, Queensland Academy of Floristry, and is also a qualified and trained floristry teacher.
Now permanently settled in Maleny, Terrianne created Mondo Floral Designs in October 2005 and now specialises solely in Wedding and Event Flowers from her Maleny Studio.
During her time in Brisbane, Terrianne was the Senior Floral Designer for The exclusive Sofitel and Novotel Hotels Brisbane and was responsible for the creation and design of the large foyer and reception arrangements that transformed the hotel foyers into eye catching floral interiors.
During Terrianne's career she has designed and created flowers for some of the mega stars of the world, including Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Bernard Fanning, John Travolta and many more.

Australian Bridal Industry Academy (ABIA)

Mondo Floral Designs was honoured at the 10th Australian Bridal Industry Awards held at the Royal on the Park Hotel on the 20th of May 2008 as the Queensland Winner of Wedding Floral Design category.
The Chairman of the ABIA, Mr John O'Meara congratulated Mondo Floral Designs on the achievement. O'Meara said that Mondo Floral Designs should be extremely proud of the achievement especially when one considers that 1,940 wedding suppliers were nominated for the 2008 Queensland ABIA Awards.
Mr O'Meara went onto say that it was business like Mondo Floral Designs which complimented and elevated the wedding industry with their attention to detail and the pride, passion and professional manner in which they delivered their wedding product to the customer.
Through the ABIA Accreditation Program, Members are required to have their businesses evaluated each year by enabling their past bridal customers to rate their best and worst wedding suppliers.
All suppliers are rated on the national ABIA standard for quality of product, quality of service, value for money and the attitude of staff.
